Insurance agent Dorsey R. Ash of the Ash Insurance Agency Inc. in Bridgeport, W.V. has pled guilty to one count of embezzlement, a felony; and one count of conducting a fraudulent scheme, also a felony, according to an announcement by West Virginia Insurance Commissioner Jane L. Cline. The Insurance Commission’s Fraud Unit began it’s investigation when a Mississippi insurance company rep complained they had been unable to collect payment for policies that had been sold by Ash.
