Geico announced it plans to hire more than 100 new associates in its Buffalo, New York, location for additional positions in claims, sales and service.
Geico, the largest auto insurer in New York, said its policyholder base continues to grow in the region.
The company’s Buffalo location is currently home to more than 2,700 associates. The insurer also has nearly 3,000 associates in its Woodbury, New York, location.
Geico (Government Employees Insurance Company) is a member of the Berkshire Hathaway family of companies and is the second-largest private passenger auto insurer in the U.S., behind State Farm. The company serves more than 13 million private passenger customers, insuring more than 22 million vehicles (auto and cycle).
