An Illinois woman has filed a suit seeking information about why her home exploded last month. Laura Williams filed the suit after a Feb. 13 blast destroyed her Pontoon Beach home and damaged several others. No one was seriously injured.
Her suit asks the court to force Ameren and Madison Mutual Insurance Co. to turn over potential evidence about the blast, including documents, photos, video recordings and gas meter readings.
Fire officials have said the cause of the explosion is “suspicious.”
