Phil C. Gallagher, 79, a Florida insurance agent, litigation consultant and expert witness, passed away peacefully in Miami June 1. Gallagher had more than 50 years of ins insurance industry experience.
Gallagher was formerly associated with Head Beckham Insurance in Miami. He took part in the acquisition and merger of many South Florida insurance agencies.
Gallagher is listed in “Who’s Who In Insurance;” “Who’s Who In Risk Management;” “Who’s Who Among Professional Insurance Agents.”
He was an underwriting member of Lloyd’s of London, and a member of numerous insurance organizations, including the Professional Insurance Agents and the Florida Association of Insurance Agents.
Gallagher is survived by his daughters Pamela Lessig of Arden, N.C. and Vivien Scott, of Ashburn, Ga.; and his granddaughter Hope Lessig.
Visitation was held June 4 at Coffers-Kolski-Combs Funeral Home in Miami. The funeral was June 5 in the chapel of the Miami Shores Presbyterian Church in Miami.
