Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at The Adams Agency Insurance is responsible for delivering exceptional service to personal and commercial lines clients. This role supports clients by handling day-to-day service requests, policy changes, documentation, billing inquiries, and general client needs in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities

Respond to client inquiries via phone, email,
and in person with professionalism, accuracy, and urgency
路
Process policy changes, endorsements,
certificates, ID cards, and other service documents across multiple carriers and platforms
路
Handle cross-selling opportunities during service
路
Assist with policy renewals, reviewing coverages and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
路
Provide billing support, including payment processing and explaining invoices to clients
路
Utilize agency management system (EPIC) to document client interactions, attach policy documents, and maintain up-to-date records
路
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of carrier guidelines, underwriting requirements, and policy forms
路
Uphold agency service standards and ensure client satisfaction throughout the insurance lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
路
Active Property & Casualty license required
(or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire)
路
Proficient with Microsoft Office, web-based systems, and agency management software (preferably EPIC)
路
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
路
Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through
